The Clear Channel Outdoor Planning Awards

Challenge:

The Clear Channel Outdoor Planning Awards are held annually in association with Media Week to select some of the best outdoor advertising and media campaigns across London and the U.K. The client wanted to build these awards into the leading outdoor media event in the U.K of great significance to the industry and an acknowledgement of great achievement to the winners.

Insight:

We selected a spectacular new venue in the heart of the media and advertising heart of London’s West End, with views across all of London’s great ‘outdoors’, fitting for the media sector being celebrated. With national press coverage the event was an industry must attend for media planners and buyers, further enhancing Clear Channels position as the Outdoor media market leader.

Results:

More than 200 agencies, clients, outdoor specialists and judges attended the awards presentation and drinks reception at Paramount in London, which overlooks the capital at 385 feet. The awards, held in association with Media Week, celebrate effective and intelligent planning of the outdoor medium in the context of integrated marketing campaigns.
