WWAV Media
Challenge:
WWAV Media wanted to create an exciting party experience for their London staff and key partners, advertisers and press, to celebrate their successful year and also to have a belated Christmas party.
Insight:
The concept needed to be innovative, Original and fun. It was to appeal to male and females and emphasize the young, vibrant nature of the agency and staff. It also had to be in a new cool venue which hadn’t been used by Media owners before.
Idea:
The Main Event /GEM created a Sin City theme that elaborated on the seedier side of an imaginary London underworld that brings together an exciting mix of dangerous and glamorous characters and entertainment. A dramatic cast of characters included good and evil, seductive and mysterious, whilst taking in the incredible views of London at night from the top floor of the exclusive penthouse venue. We created tailor made works of graffiti art on canvas of a Sin City and a cast of characters including key management from the agency. Profile 'pages' of our underworld actors and characters were replicated in strategic areas of the venue and our cabaret performers and themed waiting staff added to ambience of sin, glamour and danger. The event came to a dramatic conclusion with a surprise set from DJ's Groove Armada.
Results:
Over 600 clients, press, advertisers and staff came dressed to impress from the dangerous and despicable to the sexy and downright bizarre. The stars of the evening were the amazing entertainers and DJ's Groove Armada, closely followed by the dramatic London view from 40 stories up. The event made waves not only amongst guests but in local press and industry publications which further helped promote WWAV’s Media profile. Feedback from Staff and management agreed it was one of the best parties they had attended, which for an industry known for its endless events was an achievement.
