UEFA Europa League Cup Final
The 2010 UEFA Europa League Final will be the final match of the 2009–10 UEFA Europa League, the first season of the revamped competition formerly known as the UEFA Cup. The match will be played at the HSH Nordbank Arena, home ground of Hamburger SV, in Hamburg, Germany on 12 May 2010. The winners will play the winners of the 2010 UEFA Champions League Final in the 2010 UEFA Super Cup.
Built on the site of the old Volksparkstadion, where Hamburger SV played the second leg of their 1982 UEFA Cup final against IFK Göteborg, the Arena Hamburg was inaugurated in 2000 when Germany played Greece and serves both as a football ground and a concert hall. The stadium hosted four group games at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and the quarter final between Italy and Ukraine.
