Global Event Management Group proudly designed and managed the inauguration of McWane’s newest valve, fitting and plumbing manufacturing plant in Abu Dhabi. The opening of the US$28 million facility firmly establishes McWane’s regional presence in the Middle East. McWane Inc. is one of the largest privately-owned companies in the USA, with more than 6,000 employees worldwide.
Around 200 guests attended the event including His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development for UAE and US Ambassador Barbara A. Lead. Guests arrived at the factory for the ribbon cutting ceremony and factory tour in the morning and were then chauffeured to the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr for a logo reveal, speeches and lunch.
