This Ramadan, not many places in the UAE are as buzzing and entertaining as the Souq Al Jubail in Sharjah.
One of the biggest fresh food markets in the UAE, Souq Al Jubail offers fresh catch and produce in its state-of-the-art facility. During Ramadan, the souq is offering big discounts on prices, a wide selection of fresh produce, and some fabulous evening entertainment to go with it.
The Souq Al Jubail Ramadan Festival will run throughout the month of Ramadan, from 6th June to 9th July 2016.
What to expect…
The month-long festival offers some great evening entertainment for everyone. Shoppers can expect a range of discounts and bargain deals on fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and seafood items. Freshly prepared food will also be available at a number of food trucks and stalls within the market. Air conditioned seating areas are available outside near the waterfront areas as well as inside in the Ramadan Majlis on the First floor.
A number of attractions are on offer including traditional Ramadan décor and Majlis, food trucks and stalls, Arabic handicrafts and entertainment, kids arts and crafts areas, face painting, storytelling, photo booths, games stalls, bouncy castles, and a whole lot more.
Some of the famous stage shows are also coming to Souq Al Jubail during Eid. These include Aladdin, Sinbad, Alibaba and The Princess Show. This is in addition to the traditional performances including the Ayyala, Habban, Fisherman show, and more.
Guinness World Record:
The Souq is also attempting to set the Guinness World Record for the tallest Arabic Lantern in the world. Be a part of this historic moment at Souq Al Jubail and have a photo clicked with the amazing lantern.
