Festive Village at Souk Madinat Courtyard
Don’t miss out on Global Event Management’s festive-themed Christmas Village in the Souk Madinat Courtyard from 17th-28th December. The 2D Winter Village will be the perfect backdrop for photos, with characters built to fit the height of a child. The Little Elf Workshops will include painting, crafts, cookie decorating and more. Don’t miss out on the festive walkabout entertainment of stilt walkers, jugglers and elves.

Fort Island’s Festive Market at Souk Madinat
Head to Souk Madinat Jumeirah for a traditional German market including food stalls as well as abras through the Madinat waterways steered by Santa and his elves. There is also a snow zone for children, a gingerbread house making station and a play area. That’s not to mention the huge Christmas tree, which will be decorated and lit up bringing a festive feel to the whole of Madinat Jumeirah.

The Winter Garden Market at Habtoor Palace
Brimming with dazzling decorations, the enchanting winter wonderland will feature holiday carols inside Habtoor Palace’s beautiful Versailles Garden, with fun rides for kids and plenty of festive foodie treats. It runs daily from 3pm until midnight, and Santa himself will be coming along each evening at 6pm. Then at 7pm until 11pm, there will be a live band. On the first night of the market, Habtoor Palace will also be lighting its Christmas tree, complete with snowfalls and carol singing from the Emirates International School Kids Choir.

Dubai Festival City Mall Festive Market
Taking place until Christmas Day from 5.30pm onwards, Festival Bay will have a “larger-than-life” Christmas tree, holiday caroling, festive-themed IMAGINE shows and even the first snowfall to be seen in Dubai this year. Expect plenty of food stalls to get your holiday grub from, too.

Festive Market at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel
A traditional German market, seasonal food and drinks, bungee jumping, face painting and mini train rides to the North Pole – this new Christmas market in Dubai at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel is perfect for a fun festive family day out.

Santa’s Garden at Le Meridien Dubai
One for the little ones, a pop-up Santa’s Garden is arriving at Le Meridien Dubai for two weeks from December 12. Children can build gingerbread houses, take part in activities, and even visit the big man himself to give him their Christmas wish list.

Jingle Bell Favourites at Dubai Opera
Returning for a third year, Jingle Bell favourites will run from December 13 to 15 at Dubai Opera, with a line-up of classic sing along carols and festive family favourites across morning, matinee and evening shows. Just don’t be surprised to be dancing in the aisles by the end of the show to hits such as Jingle Bell Rock, Frosty the Snowman, and Baby It’s Cold Outside.

Nutcracker and I at the Dubai opera
Take a trip to the Dubai Opera to enjoy Pianist Alexandra Dariescu bring her innovative multi-media performance of The Nutcracker and I. You’ll get to see the story of The Nutcracker brought to life with exquisite hand-drawn digital animations projected on a gauze, while the grand piano will be played by Dariescu herself.

Al Maryah Island Abu Dhabi
The annual Winter Wonderland on Al Maryah Island is back from December 13 to 26. Visitors can enjoy entertainment, featuring roaming performances and live stage shows, as well as a selection of festive food and drink, arts and crafts, and carnival games. There will be live performances throughout the event, including professional dance troupes and choir performances. Winter cottages covered in snowflakes will host children’s activities including snow globe making, cookie decorating and face painting. There will also be train rides around the Promenade, along with photo booths and the chance to meet popular fairy tale princesses.
