Sharjah FDI Forum 2016

Global Event Management Group were appointed by the Financial Times in the UK, to run the Annual Foreign Direct Investment Forum for the Sharjah government in September 2016.

The event involved foreign Direct Investors, representatives from Consulates and Embassies from all over the world coming together to discuss the investment opportunities available to them in Sharjah.

GEM were responsible for the organization of the 2-day event, including the Production, set design, lighting, sponsors stand design and build, furniture and floral arrangements.

GEM’s hostess division, Premiere Hostess, provided the event staff and hostesses for the event.

Global Event Management Group also organized the Gala dinner at the Al Majaz Waterfront for all the guests on the first evening. This was a fantastic red carpet affair with exceptional catering from the JW Marriott, entertainment from the very talented Sparks musicians and a tailored lights and laser watershow. Both the Shurooq and Financial Times Logos could be seen at the end of each watershow on the waterscreens.

The event saw over 600 people attend over the 2 days and several new investment deals put in place.
