HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, promised to astonish the world at the turn of the decade if Dubai won the bid. And that’s exactly what he’s planning to do if these architectural delights are anything to go by.
Between October 2020 and April 2021, Dubai will host the next World Expo. Bringing together more than 180 nations and an international audience of 25 million visitors, it will be one of the greatest shows on earth.
For the Dubai 2020 Expo, the UAE selected the theme Connecting Minds, Creating the Future. Organised every five years, the World Expo lasts six months and is created as a global destination for millions of people to share ideas, showcase innovation, encourage collaboration and celebrate human ingenuity.
